Charitable Causes
“Dedicated to helping charitable causes, we serve our local community, support efforts to enhance educational opportunities, and assist organizations that advance research to find cures for diseases that affect children and adults around the world. I am grateful to be able to use our wines to support charities whose causes are near and dear to my heart.”

2025 Vintner Chair – Napa in Newport
In March 2025, Luc and Jodie will serve as the Vintner Chair for Napa in Newport, benefiting CureDuchenne.
CureDuchenne seeks to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, considered to be the most severe type of muscular dystrophy. Individuals diagnosed with Duchenne face significant challenges. By the age of 12, many are reliant on wheelchairs due to muscle degeneration and also encounter social isolation. The condition complicates even the simplest daily activities and, as it progresses, critically affects the heart and respiratory muscles. Duchenne impacts 15,000 individuals in the United States (predominantly males) and over 300,000 globally. CureDuchenne breaks the traditional charitable mold and balances passion with business acumen.
The organization fulfills the mission to cure Duchenne muscular dystrophy with an innovative venture philanthropy model that funds groundbreaking research, early diagnosis, and treatment access. With pioneering education and support programs, the organization drives real change for those with living with the disease and for their loved ones. Cure Duchenne is recognized as the global leader in research, patient care, and innovation for improving and extending the lives of those with Duchenne.

‘Cœurs-sur-Mer’
Oakville, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This special wine represents Jodie Morlet’s joy in being a mother (mère), her extensive career as an elementary school teacher, and her passion for helping others. Combining her love for spending time with Luc and their adult children by the ocean (mer) with her strong desire to support causes near and dear to her heart, this exclusive bottling is available each year through selected charitable auction lots that assist local communities, enhance educational opportunities, and advance research to find cures for diseases. It is ‘Hearts on the Sea’ or ‘Cœurs-sur-Mer.’
